June 2010 - MPEDA - Enhancement of Catch Certificate Portal
PERI is pleased to inform that the MPEDA Catch Certificate Portal has been successfully enhanced and upgraded to ensure total online transaction capability. The new application will enable exporters to apply for necessary Catch Certificates online and attach all relevant documents to the application. The officers concerned from MPEDA will be able to view these applications online and approve or reject them based on the supporting evidences provided.
As an added security feature, all issuance of Catch Certificate is now supported by Digital Certification with e-tokens to ensure authenticity as well as security to the approvers. Certificates issued can be easily downloaded and printed by the Exporter, completely bar-coded and with Digital signatures of the approving authority. Authenticity of these certificates can be verified by any party by just providing the Catch Certificate number - a feature which has been made available in the portal home page itself.
May 2010 - AgrisNet - Enhancement of AgrisNet Portal
PERI is pleased to inform that 8 more new modules have been included in the AgrisNet portal. The application developed and managed by PERI since Jan 2010, will now provide the farmers with information regarding availability of fertilizers, seeds, etc. Farmers, who are registered in the system, will also be able to receive regular SMS based updates from the department on weather and stock availability status.
May 2010 - ELCOT - Manpower Contract for other Government Department
PERI has been awarded the contract for providing manpower to various Government Department by ELCOT on rate contract basis for a period of one year. This contract will run concurrently with the earlier contract for providing manpower to ELCOT to manage its various internal requirements across the State of TN. "
April 2010 - TWAD - Completeion of Field Level Survey
PERI is pleased to announce that it has completed the field survey of more than 8500 Sq. kms as part of its ongoing GIS Asset Management Project for the Hogennakal Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project of Tamilnadu Water and Drainage Board (TWAD) in the districts of Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri. More than 1100 revenue villages have been covered and geo-coordinates of close to 15000 points have been recorded. A team of more than 20 personnel have been involved in the field surveys backed by a specialzed resources carrying out the geo-referencing activity."
PERI was identified as the vendor for this service and solution by TWAD Board in Aug 2009 through an exacting tender process and has partnered with ESRI in this project.
Mar 2010 - ELCOT - Completion Of Deployment Of Manpower For TNCSC
PERI is pleased to announce the completion of deployment of over 260 resources including Data Entry Operators, District Coordinators and Project Coordinator for Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. The deployment, implemented through ELCOT, has enabled TNCSC to capture transaction data from over 33 offices on a daily basis and has helped streamline decisions on availability and transport of essential commodities for the general public, distributed through the Public Distribution System.

Jan 2010 - AgrisNet - Application Migration to ELCOT Data Centre
PERI is pleased to announce the migration of the Department of Agriculture Portal - Agrisnet - to the ELCOT Data Center with effect from Jan 1, 2010. Catering to more than 32 Districts, 386 Blocks and over 17,000 Villages across the State of Tamil Nadu, the portal is a veritable knowledge base of information for the 80 Lakh farmers who are dependent on the State for various key and timely information. With all these blocks and district offices linked using Broadband, more than 500 users input a multitude of data on a daily basis enabling state and district level officers to extract daily updates and reports from the portal.
PERI was awarded the contract to develop the application by ELCOT in mid 2009 and after a detailed study of the organisation and their requirements, 5 modules were identified for initial development. These modules gather and provide key information to the over 80 Lak farmers spread across TN.
